Paxton Home Sales Mostly Close Without Disclosed Prices in Late July
Nine Paxton properties changed hands between July 24 and July 29, but only one deed disclosed a sale price: $450,000, for a parcel sold by First Congregational Church of Paxton to Roy Alison and Arnold Cameron. That figure also stands as the period's median, since no other price was recorded. Grove Street saw two transactions, the only street with more than one sale. Five of the nine deeds involved banks or mortgage servicers as a party, and one, at 217 Grove St., moved a property from a trustee to the same individual. With most prices undisclosed, the data offers limited basis for judging overall market conditions this period.
