Paxton records 13 property transfers in late summer, but only one sale price disclosed

Thirteen property deeds were recorded in Paxton between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, but only one disclosed a sale price: a $4.5 million commercial property transfer from Asylum Sports Complex LLC to SA Club LLC on Aug. 18. The other 12 transfers, spanning streets including Marshall, Grove, Jefferson and Pleasant, listed no consideration amount. Two streets, Marshall and Grove, each saw two recorded transfers. Several deeds involved bank or mortgage-servicing entities as sellers, and two showed same-family names on both sides of the transaction. With prices disclosed for just one of 13 sales, the data does not support broader conclusions about Paxton's residential market tone this period.
